About Marriage with Mercy

Marriage with Mercy is an independent Islamic marriage guidance and education service created to help Muslim couples better understand and navigate the challenges that can arise within marriage.

The approach combines Islamic guidance with insights from established relationship research, with a focus on making marriage guidance practical, understandable and relevant to everyday married life.

About the Imam

Marriage with Mercy was founded by a UK-based imam who began working directly with couples experiencing marital difficulties in 2024.

After seeing the value that structured marriage guidance could provide, he developed a particular interest in understanding marital conflict, communication and relationship dynamics, and began studying these areas in greater depth.

His approach is rooted in Islamic teachings on marriage while also drawing on useful insights from modern relationship research. The aim is to help Muslim couples understand the patterns affecting their relationship and identify practical steps towards healthier communication, greater understanding and a stronger marriage.

The approach

Marriage with Mercy recognises that Islamic guidance and an understanding of relationship dynamics can complement one another.

Islamic teachings remain at the heart of the service, while relevant findings from relationship research are used to better understand issues such as recurring conflict, communication breakdown, trust and emotional connection.

The goal is not simply to tell couples what they should or should not do, but to help them better understand what is happening within their marriage and identify practical ways forward.
